At Quidi Vidi Lake in St. John’s on August the 5th, the 208th Royal St. John’s Regatta drew thousands to what’s recognized as North America’s oldest continuous sporting event. Alongside the boat races, this year’s Regatta made room for food and craft booths run by newcomer and cultural communities, some fixtures at the lake for decades, others setting up a table for the very first time.
